This Sanctuary Is Built by People Like You
VOLUNTEER WITH US
The Particular Joy of Being Trusted by an Animal Who Had Given Up on Trust
We're not looking for one-time helpers — we're building a community of people who show up, learn the residents by name, and become part of the fabric of this place. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
What Volunteers Do
- Morning and evening feeding rounds
- Enrichment and socialization time with residents
- Enclosure and facility upkeep
- Supporting construction and build-out
- Administrative and outreach tasks (remote options available)
What We Ask
- A commitment of at least 4 hours per week
- Reliability — our residents count on routine
- Compassion for animals in their golden years
- Willingness to follow sanctuary protocols
What You'll Find
- A warm, supportive team environment
- Structured onboarding and training
- A genuine sense of belonging — not just a task list
- The particular joy of being trusted by an animal who had given up on trust
We are based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and welcome volunteers from the greater Attleboro area, Plainville, Wrentham, Mansfield, Foxborough, and surrounding communities.
